Outdoor Steel Storm Shelter

Heavy-gauge steel built to FEMA and ICC-500 standards. The watertight door has dual shock-assisted hinges, so it opens and closes smoothly even under pressure. When the sirens go off, the last thing you need is a door that fights you. It comes with adjustable carpeted benches and removable carpeted wooden steps for secure footing.

Steel: 3' W x 8' L x 4.5' H · 8–10 people · Starting at $7,500.00 installed.

Why Choose an Outdoor Shelter?

  • You can reach it from anywhere on your property in seconds.

  • Installation takes one day, with no changes to your home.
  • It comes with a limited transferable warranty that stays with the shelter if you sell.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How long does installation take?
Most outdoor shelters are installed the same day, in about 4–5 hours.

Which is better, concrete or steel?
Both protect your family. Concrete offers stand-up headroom and more mass, and it’s ideal for larger properties with room for equipment access. Steel fits more yards and has a shock-assisted door that’s easy to open. We’ll help you decide based on your property.

What do I need to prepare?
We’ll review your yard, access for our equipment, and the best placement during your consultation.

How do I reserve an installation date?
A $500.00 deposit reserves your spot. The remaining balance is due on installation day. In-house financing is available.

Do you charge for travel?
We install across Kentucky and Tennessee. Installations more than 40 miles from our Hopkinsville facility may include a per-mile travel charge.
